A spring delight -
The opening to something bright
A. nemorosa is often found in shady woods as an early-spring flowering plant. The toxicity of Anemone nemorosa is very high. This little perrinale plant is in the wild usually white, but may be pinkish, lilac, blue or yellow and often have a darker tint to the back of the petals. I have wonderful memories from walking amongst these flowers in the woods, both in Canada and Denmark.
