Just by looking at these beautiful flower, you know water lilies means something special. The flowers are often associated with birth and resurrection, because of their striking ability to emerge from the water. The most interesting thing that water lilies symbolises are enlightenment.

The roots run deep into bed of soil, while their leaves and flowers are floating on the surface of the water, creating a vision so tranquil.

The flowers are not only decorative, but also provide useful shade which helps reduce growth of algae in ponds and lakes. All water lilies are poisonous and contains alkaloid also called nupharin in almost all of their parts.
